Day Program

Our Day Program is designed to empower individuals with disabilities by offering a welcoming environment focused on fostering independence, community engagement, and personal growth. With both facility-based and community-based options, we provide clients with enriching experiences that support their unique goals and help them build meaningful connections.

Through our programs in Clearfield and Salt Lake City, participants enjoy a wide range of activities, from skill-building and recreational events to hands-on service projects and engaging social outings. Our mission is to help each client, or "Buddy," gain confidence and thrive in a supportive, dynamic setting.

Whether you’re looking for structured indoor programs or community-based adventures, our Day Program offers the flexibility and guidance to support each Buddy’s path to independence and fulfillment.

Our Clearfield facility spans 5,200 sq ft. and is designed to offer a range of engaging activities and relaxation spaces. Key features include:

  • Sensory Room: A calm, welcoming space for clients to unwind.
  • Performance Stage: For talent shows, performances, and social events.
  • Recreation Area: Complete with a pool table, ping pong, and spaces for safe socializing.
  • Exercise Room: Equipped for basketball, pickle-ball, ZUMBA, and other fitness activities.

These amenities provide clients with a secure, enjoyable environment to engage in both structured activities and free play.

Our Salt Lake City Day Program focuses on real-world experiences, emphasizing community integration and social exploration. With both private and public transit options, clients participate in outings to exciting locations, including:

  • Lagoon Amusement Park, Utah Jazz/Bees games, Special Olympics events
  • Educational and cultural sites like Treehouse Children’s Museum and Bean Life Science Museum
  • Recreational destinations such as Splash/Dinosaur Parks and Classic Fun Center

These community activities help clients gain confidence, build social skills, and foster independence in public spaces.

Our mission is to support each client’s journey toward independence and self-confidence. Through service projects, job site visits, and interaction with community guests, we help clients gain practical skills and self-reliance. Our hands-on staff is committed to providing a supportive environment that encourages personal development in a structured yet flexible setting.

Our program includes a variety of special events to create memorable experiences, such as:

  • Annual Luau, Valentine’s Dance, Halloween Talent Show, and Christmas party with Santa
  • Mock interviews, tours of local businesses like the Chocolate Factory and VASA/EOS gyms, and visits from community figures like dental hygienists and the County Sheriff’s Department

Our Group Homes serve individuals with autism and disabilities across Utah, Salt Lake, Davis, and Weber counties. Through close coordination with healthcare providers, we work to maintain each resident’s physical and mental well-being.

Each of our group homes is thoughtfully designed to create a peaceful, comfortable environment:

  • Layton Home: Located near scenic landmarks and parks, this modern home is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a spacious backyard garden, and a shaded porch perfect for gatherings. Residents have access to local parks and enjoy a tranquil setting with views of the new temple and a backyard with goats that help maintain the green landscape.

  • Kaysville Home: Designed for female residents with sensory sensitivities, this home features calming sensory rooms and outdoor relaxation spaces. Located in a quiet area close to parks, the home is staffed by experienced caregivers trained to provide gentle, medically sensitive care for clients with diverse needs.

Our Host Home Program allows individuals with disabilities to live in a supportive family environment. Host families provide more than just a place to live; they offer companionship, stability, and an enriched daily experience. Each host family undergoes a rigorous selection process to ensure they can meet our high standards of care and provide a loving, supportive home.

Host homes are available across multiple counties, and each host family brings their own unique strengths, offering a range of activities, hobbies, and home environments tailored to the needs and preferences of the individuals they welcome.

Each host home provides around-the-clock support and personalized care plans. Host families are trained in:

  • Medication management and health monitoring
  • Assistance with daily activities such as grooming, hygiene, and meal preparation
  • Specialized training in caring for individuals with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other cognitive and developmental disabilities

Host families work closely with healthcare providers and families to ensure each resident’s physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
