Host homes

Our Host Home Program allows individuals with disabilities to live in a supportive family environment. Host families provide more than just a place to live; they offer companionship, stability, and an enriched daily experience. Each host family undergoes a rigorous selection process to ensure they can meet our high standards of care and provide a loving, supportive home.

Host homes are available across multiple counties, and each host family brings their own unique strengths, offering a range of activities, hobbies, and home environments tailored to the needs and preferences of the individuals they welcome.

Each host home provides around-the-clock support and personalized care plans. Host families are trained in:

  • Medication management and health monitoring
  • Assistance with daily activities such as grooming, hygiene, and meal preparation
  • Specialized training in caring for individuals with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other cognitive and developmental disabilities

Host families work closely with healthcare providers and families to ensure each resident’s physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Our Host Homes are located throughout Utah, Salt Lake, Davis, and Weber counties, each offering a warm, supportive environment for individuals with disabilities. Every home is carefully selected and staffed by families committed to fostering personal growth and a sense of belonging. Host families provide structure and encouragement, helping clients with daily routines, life skills, and community involvement.

Each home is uniquely suited to meet the individual needs of its residents, with host families who are dedicated to creating a stable, welcoming atmosphere. Our host homes are always looking to welcome a new Buddy into the family, and our team is here to find the right match for each individual.

Our Host Home Program is centered around finding the best match between clients and host families, ensuring that each individual joins a household where they can feel valued and supported. We carefully match clients with host families based on compatibility, interests, and unique needs, allowing for a comfortable transition and strong connections.

Our host families come from diverse backgrounds, bringing a wide range of interests, skills, and experiences to the program. Many enjoy activities like cooking, family game nights, community outings, and time spent outdoors. This diversity ensures that we can find a home environment that aligns with each client’s preferences and lifestyle.

Host families are fully trained and committed to creating a nurturing environment, offering the stability and encouragement each Buddy needs to thrive.
